Hi all,
I originally only had rockmtih 2014 on Xbox 360, but brought a Xbox one and rocksmith 2014 for xbox one as well. Well recently i decided to sell my xbox one and rocksmith for xbox one as i was not playing the xbox one enough to justify the purchase, i expected to be able to play the dlc i downloaded for rocksmith on xbox one on my rocksmith 360 version, this in not the case i have to pay again for dlc i already payed for on xbox one, so i called microsoft and asked if they would allow me to download the dlc i already purchased on xbox one , on xbox 360 for free as a good will gesture they said ubisoft decided not to make the the game backwards compatible, so i would have to buy and pay for all my dlc again.
Im not to happy, i believe it was made clear that xbox 360 dlc songs can be used on xbox one when the game was announced for xbox one , but it was not made clear that your xbox one rocksmith song purchases cannot be used on the xbox 360 version also.
